2017 Reading Challenge

Hamilton County Library is proud to announce two adult reading challenges for the year of 2017. Both of these challenges will be a year long. They will both Start January 3rd, 2017 and they will both end in December 2017.

 2017 Reading Challenge

The first challenge will be a normal reading challenge. Each month will have a theme. Along with these themes, there will be a list of challenges, or requirements, that the Patron will have to complete. For example, January’s theme is, “first things first.” One of the challenges for this theme is, “Re-Read the First Book You Remember.” Once a Patron has completed a challenge their name will be entered into a drawing for a prize. Each month of the year will have a Prize!

The Second Challenge is a little bit different. Patrons will be given the opportunity to write reviews for books that they read throughout the year. For each book that is reviewed Patrons will be able to enter their name into the monthly drawing for a Prize!

Both of these Challenges will be fun and are great opportunities that will stretch both avid and the casual reader! Remember both challenges will start January 3rd, 2017. For more information, and to begin the Reading Challenges, sign up at the Hamilton County Library. The Time to sign up is now!
